The guys at Framestore had previously completed a set of 3 ‘commodities’ based animations for the huge screens in Times Square. The project had been so successful that they were subsequently asked to provide 3 more, this time for Wheat, Copper and Gas.
Knowing Lumiere’s history with particle dynamics and simulation, they approached us to complete these 3 films in their entirety.
We are pleased to say that they are still playing every few minutes on the Digital screens in Times Square, and have been for over 4 years!
